   Perhaps I am old school but it seems to be an obvious yes. Jesus was.

   On a perhaps related note, a local brew pub has a monthly event where Dads can meet to discuss Godly ways of being a Dad. The one meeting I attended was so frought with corporate buzz speak and this book or that book on being intentional with your kids, setting them for success, deep dive… It was nauseating. What happened to the Godly instinct to be what my son figured out at 10 – the principle of locus dei. I was my God ordained duty to be his, and his sister’s, earthly representation of our Heavenly Father.

   Yes.

   But one would have to cease marinating in the pablum spewed in the trendy Protestant Evangelical “churches”.

   It will require a completely different mindset and worldview.
