We had 550,000 troops and over 4,000 combat aircraft based right in South Vietnam in 1968. Ten minutes from takeoff to mission. 2 million Vietnamese and 58,000 Americans died. AND WE LOST THE WAR.

So anybody who even suggests that invading Iran can work, is retarded. Especially… pic.twitter.com/BoYb6Qalr8

Just trad on ZH Trump reminds Iran they have 48 hours left.
Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them. Glory be to GOD!” he added.
We lost the VN War because the politicians on both sides of the aisle would not let the military win it. LBJ: “They can’t bomb a shit house unless I give them the okay!” Plus, that closet leftist media whore Walter Cronkite planted the seed of defeat after Tet. The VC and the NVA had received almost a knock-out blow of casualties. And Nixon’s bombing and mining campaigns against North VN brought the Reds back to the conference table.
I served two years in the Army during the VN war. It is only by the Grace of God that my name is not chiseled on the Black Granite Wall. I never supported being there in the first place, but I had deeply imbibed the “Kill a commie for mommy” Kool-Aid. And I still remember Barry Goldwater in an interview in the early 70’s who said if he had been elected in ’64, “…there would not have been enough left of North VN to grow rice on.” After reading the truth by Smedley Butler, Daniel Ellsberg, Neil Sheehan, and David Hackworth, what rings true is what has been written on this site and WRSA: All wars are Bankster wars. Bleib ubrig.
