  1. The production and refining infrastructure of the Gulf States have been seriously damaged in the war. Apparently, President Marcos realizes this and is taking steps to mitigate as much as possible the suffering the people of the Philippines are going to experience. While I might not agree with everything they will do, at least he knows how that when oil runs out, everything runs out.

  2. One of the things Trump has said is that the fighting will end by April 9th. Why that day? Because that’s the first day of the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia.

There’s an old saying about the fallacy of putting all your eggs in one basket. In all ways truly possible, people and nations should always be as self-sufficient in preparation for hard times, originally thought of as being brought about by nature; not so any longer. Unfortunately the greed for luxuries and power, plus laziness and the unwillingness to attempt to think beyond one’s current comforts, has gone from the home/family to the governments. Lack of critical thinking is most likely the cornerstone of most problems. You reap what you sow.

  4. Because price fixing and other government central control measures NEVER have the OPPOSITE EFFECT. LOL Good luck to them all. Personally I filled (2) 5 gallon cans this morning and might fill more. Wife needs to be able to get to her sister with Alzheimer’s and who knows how bad Trump will allow/make things to get here.

  5. The USA is swirling in the giant toilet. The billionaires who run the show stand back smiling – their billions are safe.

Uh, before the reliance of petro chemical byproducts for fertilizer, farmers all over the world fed people using other methods. I grew up in the SF Valley of SoCal. We had 17 Valencia orange trees on our property, not counting peaches, apricots, grapes, and boysenberries. I can only remember one time when my dad used Urea on the orange trees. Our bearing produce was fertilized with chicken and steer manure, bought dirt cheap from hatcheries and dairies.
In all these “Third World” countries, the ways to fertilize include using human waste. Rather than the Prajeet population defecating in the Ganges, use the night soil of their many millions to fertilize their crops. The Flips and others should have seen this coming. Sad.

    1. Where in the SF valley? I grew up in Woodland Hills.

  7. Energy lockdowns are coming… they’ll crash the economy again, push towards the 15 minute cities.
