What Did Trump Expect?

History will look back at this time and see that Iran retaliates to attacks from Israel and the US. They state plainly that if you hit us in this sector, we will hit you in the same manner. Does this seem like an effective strategy for the US if Trump is looking for a ceasefire?

What is strange is that no one is discussing the consequences of this war. If a ceasefire was put in place today, the rebuilding of the destroyed infrastructure will take years to rebuild. Energy, fertilizer, real estate values, helium and chemical precursors for mining are a part of the resupply of the world’s global economy that is impacted. And yet, the powers that want this war seem to be fixated on a conflagration that will completely reshape the power and economic structure for the world.

  1. Well, some of us have been so frustrated that we’ve been saying ‘burn it all down’ and we’ll begin anew. I guess perhaps we’ll get what we asked for.

    1. I don’t think it can be saved. Should it be is another question.

  2. The globalists WANT to depopulate the planet. This all works in their favor!

  3. I figure Trump’s ego misinformed him to expect an easy victory. Apparently he was getting high on his own supply of American exceptionalism, particularly as it regards our military. Which, of course, is nothing at all like it was the last time we had a decisive military victory (WWII), or even a fairly “successful” (as defined by the standards of the time) operation in Iraq.

Now he has opened the proverbial Pandora’s box, and I am already getting the gut feeling it will sink his presidency – and quite possibly the country – if only due to the economic impact it will have (and already is, with worse still to come). It is already doing enormous damage to his reputation and support among his base, who are falling away rapidly. All of which could have been avoided by merely concentrating on the things he campaigned on. Instead, he changed course in dramatic fashion, and here we are. This almost feels like it’s primed to turn into a COVID level morass, in terms of political impact.

It boggles my mind that the man atop the “most powerful country in the world” could be so misinformed and ill advised into repeatedly stepping into giant piles of dogsqueeze the way he has. In his first term it was how he handled COVID. Now, it appears to be a combination of his desire to project power, and being goaded into the neocon/zionist agenda, to the exclusion of nearly all else. Maybe he really is just an idiot. I’m no prophet or mind reader, so all I can do is look on from the outside, and speculate on what is driving his decisions.

  4. This is it. Make no mistake where we are. Trump didn’t expect. He was chosen to wreck our nation. The final blow.

“ Iran remains under heavy sanctions and repeated strikes. The Strait of Hormuz is now closed. Meanwhile, the Houthis, Hezbollah, and Iraqi militias continue asymmetric operations. And as key experts warn, the risk of a wider regional or world war is greater than at any time since World War II. Trump and his predecessor essentially worked to turn the entire world against the United States. To utter this some months ago would have been labeled a conspiracy theory. Well, conspire is what the 1% in the West seem to have done. To what end, is anyone’s guess. The only thing that is clear is that this region is a powder keg, and Israeli interests are the fuse.”

  5. He expected Iran to surrender about 84 times since this started. He has been disappointed every time.

  6. At this point, I honestly think somebody tried to explain Iran’s mosaic defense to Pres. Trump and he couldn’t grasp it.

  7. You’ll own nothing and be happy. We’ll own nothing because we can not afford anything anymore.

We added $1 trillion to the debt in less than 5 months. That’s more inflation.

Why does our government care about anyone but us?

Number one job should have been addressing the cost of everything. Our beef supply is in crisis. Beef is the healthiest meat.
