State collapse is inevitable when a society’s leaders are insulated from the negative consequences of their bad decisions.

One response to “This Is Getting Worse”
Local gas price is now at $3.59/gal, up from a pretty reliably consistent $2.29 two weeks ago. Some stations had even broken under that at $2.19, before the Iran debacle. Now I’ve no doubt we are headed north of $4.00/gal within the next 7-10 days. And I at least have the benefit of living in an area with lower than average gas prices.
The apparent manipulation (suppression) of the per barrel price in the US markets looks much like the way silver is being kept down, in order to avoid unpleasant realities.
