Apparently the likes of lindsey graham (and many others in the ruling class) feel no shame, as they have no difficulty at all with these actions. Which is why we are in such dire trouble as country. Really, it almost makes sense they’d behave this way. They’ve gotten away with it – sans any really consequences – for decades now. But the era of comporting themselves with zero regard for blowback appear poised to come to a end. At the very least, their actions are going to take a massive economic toll on the US (and the world) in huge cost increases for oil/fuel/fertilizer, with an attendant reduction in available quantities.
If this is confirmed to be ‘intentional’ –then is this a ‘war crime?’ And if it is to be considered a war crime, who is to be held responsible? Would it be that entire chain of command of ‘targeteers’ down to the actual Tech Sargent who pushed the button–or the B52 pilots who released the weapon–or the commander of the ship who authorized the weapons release? If you know anything about targeting–then you all should know that it’s just not some JG LT Mo-Mo who gets to decided When the trigger is pulled. Nope. These targets (all of them) go through extensive research a preparation beforehand to know exactly where and how a target is to be zotzed. The days of Rolling Thunder carpet bombing are over FYI–although Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruiz have recurrent wet dreams about the possibilities of such. Targets are ranked, primary, secondary down to tertiary–with each carefully and meticulously studied in minute detail beforehand by teams of ‘targeteers.’ They are also studied for psychological and political effect. So if some officer authorized a Tomahawk release, they knew full well in advance just where it was going and approximately when it would strike. To claim this strike was accidental is stretching the truth like pizza dough. And the fact that it was hit twice means nothing other than the outcome was intentional. And if so–then this is in fact a ‘war crime.’ If the USA was hoping to win the hearts and minds of the Iranian people, then this act destroyed any and all chances of this happening. It seem like we’re back to the old Vietnam War saying that ‘you have to burn the village to save the village.’ This war prodded along into reality by Israel, despite all the cheerleading by so called conservative media, is one of the greatest military debacles in all history. Is is destroying everything and all the political capital that Trump has built and it could propel this country into the hands of the Communist-Democratic-Party for a generation.
