You don’t need a Facebook account to watch this interview. I do not know if an illegal meeting of some commissioners occurred prior to this “closed” meeting. Some coordination had to have happened since the two commissioners who resigned, handed their resignations in at the same time.
So why was the county attorney fired? We may never know. What we do know is that the county taxpayers have to pay the attorney for one year’s salary based on his last month’s billing to the county per his contract. That leaves the taxpayers with a bill of between $150,000 to $250,000.
More information will be coming out on this matter.

I can’t speak to this item specifically, but note it is part of a trend nationally – The rats are fleeing the ship! That means the lower decks are already wet.
David,
Thanks for posting, really didn’t learn anything new other than what’s been reported.
Can the local DA depose all county commissioners plus the attorney to get the facts as to why he was fired?
So you knew that Cal Stiles is good friends with attorney who was given a large settlement when Dan and Cal were soundly rejected by the voters.
