The Strait was closed by insurance. The refinery was closed by a drone. The exports were closed by a legal clause. Three different mechanisms. One outcome. Supply removed from a market that cannot replace it.

  1. I believe that the sanctions will be lifted on Russian oil by The weekend sending 10 million barrels a day back to the market.
    This truly screws the Chinese that have lost two of the three oil sources for cheap oil the third being the Russians.
    The insurance question revolves around Loyd’s and their desperate attempt to keep the City of London relevant.

    Talk about ‘screwing the pooch’ with this war. I bet none of the psychotic Neo-Cons and multi-star Mo-Mo’s in the Pentagram envisioned the payback that Iran could dish out–to US bases, their support and Israeli infrastructure (which is being smashed as I type this). This is turning out to be the worst military decision since the Deippe Raid in France, Gallipoli and Custer’s last stand.
