Presumes meritocracy.
If you are running your OWN business, YOU are the one who decides your success. The meritocracy of the marketplace will ALWAYS exist…that is why liberals hate the marketplace and prefer the government controls.
Sadly, the lies about “socialization” persist. Mostly they are perpetuated by parents who rely on the government day prison babysitter monopoly and would NEVER do what it took to be able to homeschool their child(ren).
While not characteristic of EVERY homeschool situation, the fact is that if you treat “learning” as an ongoing adventure (as most kids NATURALLY DO UNTIL IT IS BEATEN OUT OF THEM WITH BELLS, ETC), then EVERYTHING you do as a parent with your child can become a learning experience. FAR, FAR too many parents hand their children off to the government (or even a private school – most of which are not much better), and expect that learning will be handled by them, while they are free of the drudgery. Truly sad, and children raised with that mentality towards learning are easy to spot. They DO NOT LEARN. They are rarely interested in ANYTHING beyond what entertains them. They lack CURIOSITY. The world might still have a chance with that many being homeschooled. Covid truly exposed to so many how truly horrible government schools are. Being able to work from home, suddenly provided the opportunity many parents were looking for to be able to homeschool. If the government wasn’t STEALING half the nation’s wealth in taxes, one income would pay the bills while the other spouse could easily stay home and homeschool. But are independent, intelligent, free-thinkers REALLY something the GOVERNMENT wants?? Ah…its all becoming clear…..
Thank you for this breath of fresh air amid all of the turmoil going on with the Trump-Bibi Clown Show. As a credentialled schoolteacher who has taught in “government schools”, private schools, and home school environments, I can truly say there is hope for those younglings who stay away from the leftist, degenerate “government school” system. I hope and pray for its eventual collapse.
Home schooled students typically match the academic achievements of the average public school student of the 60’s. Evidence that the US Education system was deliberately infiltrated and destroyed by the left over the last half century.

The Public Education System was a tool of statists from its’ inception in the 19th Century. The goal of the system was never education, which is the transfer of knowledge. It was always indoctrination. The rate of literacy in the early republic was higher before mandatory public education was inflicted upon the population before Lincoln’s War. The despicable statist education advocate Horace Mann said that children were “wax” and that the point of education should be to remove them as far as possible from the influence of their parents. The poison fruit of these 19th Century Marxists is now fully ripe and falling off of the trees. When it is time to start over with something new, “Public Education” supported by taxing local real estate freeholders needs to eradicated.
