   These are aggregate numbers obviously, but two homes have gone on the market in my neighborhood in the past couple of months. The first was under contract in less than a week and closed in less than a month. The second under contract in less than two weeks but not yet closed. I guess location, location, location really means something. And the first home was bought by a real human being, not a bloodsucking corporation. We’ll see on the second.

      Yeah, highly desirable locales are still closing sales, but with the general trajectory things are on, I expect those areas will start feeling the pinch as well before too long.

   Anyone with an older mortgage with a low rate non-transferable mortgage won’t choose to move unless under duress. Anyone contemplating a purchase of a high priced home with high interest rate should sit tight until prices come down.
