I believe the expression from Pogo was: “We have met the enemy and he is us.” When you consider that expression is from many years ago, it shows us thoughtful, concerned American citizens were taking Ike’s warning about the MIC seriously. Sadly, the stupid American Sheeple were more concerned about their bread and circuses. And here we are.
