The government wants us dead. But before we die, they will drain our wealth, health and Liberty. It will never stop until we understand the price of Liberty.
State collapse is inevitable when a society’s leaders are insulated from the negative consequences of their bad decisions.

Between this, and the glyphosate order, there goes yet another of his frequent campaign promises (make American healthy again) down the toilet. The ratio of successes to failures is getting pretty lopsided about now. How many more failures can be racked up in the next 2 years?
This “reversal” looks bad, but the policy of “no petroleum-based dyes” remains in effect. Question: What foods have artificial (or “natural”) coloring added? Candy. Soft drinks. Premade cake frosting. Doritos. Mostly garbage food that no one should eat, ever, and knowing what everyone knows now, if they get sick, they knew the risks.
Read the label, and if it has dyes, natural or otherwise, skip it. If you crave something with the color orange in it, eat an orange.
Sometimes I wonder of blaming government for not addressing these things is any different than us buying products from those companies that continue to use these chemicals.
A proper function of government is not to ban, well, anything, but perhaps to test products, publish the results, THEN CHECK THOSE RESULTS INDEPENDENTLY, and vote with our dollars. We say we don’t want a nanny state. Maybe we all work a little harder to support those business that actively attempt to sell us healthy products that they grow organically, and support open-source testing of those products.
What would be the advantage to adding a dye to a food? If you are not smart enough to realize it does not enhance the taste or nutritional value, maybe you should not be allowed to use your EBT card to buy food that is not healthy and is only costing taxpayers more money for the product.
There is no advantage to adding a dye to food, other than for marketing something that might otherwise look unappealing. The solution is labeling the food, and supporting and promoting businesses that do NOT put dyes in their food.
The solution to the EBT issue to that is to put restrictions on the food that taxpayers are paying for. Whole foods only. If we are paying for it, then we SHOULD have some say in how that money is spent, AND we should not be responsible for paying for the health care of those individuals who choose to eat that crap.
Call out those businesses that poison our food. That will help.
It’s like all the added sugar as well. It’s not necessary. People would get used to things not being so sweet if it wasn’t there. Grape Crush soda has 60 grs. per serving of sugar. I love watching what people put in their grocery carts. Boggles the mind.
