Wish Chuck Edwards would be more like Tom Massie and Tim Burchett, and much less than Tom Tillis.
The Republicans need more critical thinkers not people who blindly vote for something just because they are told to. If Trump wants something he should explain why it is needed and how it will be paid for.
Trump has his handlers directing his actions. Washington will never change: evil won because good men did nothing.
What should we have done, Mr. DeGerolamo? We voted for Trump in the expectation he and his team would set things right. It is now apparent the POTUS has failed us. Should we hope the next shooter connects or that the POTUS infarcts on the golf course? And what would we be left with? Who is JD Vance?
America was set on the road to perdition on 11/22/1963, when forces within its own government murdered a sitting president in broad daylight in front of hundreds of spectators. After that we had the Tonkin Gulf lies, Watergate, Roe v. Wade, Desert Storm, Ruby Ridge, Waco, Oklahoma City, 9/11, the “Patriot Act”, etc. And all along the way there were Cassandras and Jeremiahs telling the unvarnished truth and warning the corrupt, self-absorbed, syphilitic-thinking “American public.”
I must face the fact now, in my dotage, the Republic has become an Empire. And like empires of old, its vanity, overreach, economic perfidiousness, and moral degeneracy are hatching chickens which will be coming home to roost. My focus is on saving myself and my family from what is sure to happen before the end of 2026. Bleib ubrig, Mr. DeGerolamo.
I voted for Trump because it cost me a little of my time. I did not expect much but it was at least a very small way to protest Harris.
That being said, I have been able to continue building infrastructure, knowledge and supplies. I am in a good position compared to 99% of the people.
My prediction is that while we could have had a new Renaissance, our traitorous “leaders” could not help but destroy the country for their own greed and arrogance. Thankful for the extra time.
