The Indian ones are probably plotting new scam calls. The Fillipino ones are plotting how to make customer service more frustrating. The banking ones are plotting to steal all the money to build more data centers. Seriously though, what techidiot thought this was a good idea.
As an actual scientist, I firmly believe in the old adage, “just because you CAN DO SOMETHING, doesn’t mean that you SHOULD DO THAT SOMETHING.” Far too many scientists don’t seem to respect the power or the implications of what they do.
The only correct response is to shut it down. Humans originally developed the software, Humans by nature are sinful, it seems likely our creation will be sinful. The old phrase absolute power corrupts absolutely, will come to play for these ai machines and just Ike we turned against God, they will turn against us.
