I checked after this post was made and U.S. Mint still had some Gold and Platinum for sale??
Plenty of gold for me…if not for that “horrible” boating accident in which it was ALL lost…along with all my silver, guns, and ammo. And that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
APMEX has coins of both, but American Eagle Platinums are selling for a $450 premium over spot. That’s truly insane.
I purposely avoided platinum and palladium because they look too much like silver and I didn’t want to run into possible “rejection” issues when TSHTF. At least people recognize gold, and silver’s much lower price (in theory) made them both quite functional for both large and small purchases. Looks like we will be seeing soon enough….Stay safe everyone.
These are going to be repriced like ASEs. Your platinum should be for when it is so desperately needed by the MIC that you can take it to a dealer and exchange for gold or silver. Because of the high premium don’t settle for less than spot.
