A little misleading: these eagles have privy marks or other features that make them more collectable. They still are seen as one ounce of silver for the smelter by speculators.
State collapse is inevitable when a society’s leaders are insulated from the negative consequences of their bad decisions.

It’s going to get much worse until the price settles at the proper ratio to gold which the silver manipulators have been holding down the silver prices so they could take in billions of dollars on there stinking ponzi contracts. Iam happy these greedy banks are losing billions of dollars, it’s finally caught up to all the bastards who run these banks and the comex.
The BU Eagles the mint is selling for $169 are mint mark W (West Point) and come with a special little box and a certifcate of authenticity. Regular Eagles don’t have a mint mark.
The Mint is required by law to mint Eagles to meet public demand, but they stop production to not cause the Ag price to rise in times like this.
It really makes no difference what marks are on these coins because if we are forced to purchase in silver and gold coinage no ones is going to care what marks are on the coins they will only be concerned about the silver content and the market value per oz. and what is on the coins itself. If the dollar of which it will you will be purchasing in silver coins or bars and at that time most of the sellers of goods will have weight scales to weigh the coins before making that purchase. Unfortunately numismatics and collectibles won’t mean a hill of beans at that point.
I agree, I was just pointing out why the higher cost for those coins. I’m a collecter of Ag since 2008. Eagles, Maples and 90%. Very happy right now.
I as well have been collecting all sorts numismatic and bullion silver coins from various sources and have every American Eagle coin from 1986 to the present in BU and proof coins, I have Canadian minted coins as well Australian coins, etc. , but it’s like I said the retailor of merchandise is not going to care how shiny the coin is or the coin in a PGS sealed plastic case, it will be weighed to ensure the weight content of the silver is real and the price is as listed at the exchange rates. you have done yourself a great service by stacking some silver because it will get us thru the tough times we are headed into.
