Amen. I’m 47 and its still astounding and disturbing at the lengths of depravity and darkness that a person will be willing to go to when they think there will never be any repercussions for their actions. Some of the allure of “the atheist ” frame of mind i suppose.
The system cannot be fixed by the system. Regular criminals go to prison, political criminals get protected and the Uniparty will make damn sure of it.

It is uncanny how prescient Matt has been in this and many other essays.
I’m waiting for Europe to EXPLODE in ways foretold by Mr. Bracken in his “Tet, Take Two” from a few years back. He projected that the common people of the EU would be pushed to the brink and begin the actions needed to repel the invading hordes.
Matt got the year wrong (2016, IIRC) but This. Will. Happen.
