One last thing Trump, I will never vote for a single candidate for any office who you endorse.

This is no surprise. He has treated Massie much the same., who along with MTG are a really the only two who have maintained their ideological consistency (so far as we know), and they are just demanding he act on the promises he needs during his campaign. But he won’t do that, because he has now been distracted by other matters. Matters suddenly made more pressing, I’m sure, by some quid pro quo. I remember his first term where we frequently thought Kushner was the problem. Well, here we are without Jared anywhere to be seen or heard of, and the results are disturbingly similar to Trump 1.0. All we need now is another pandemic leading to a hysterical overreaction, to seal the deal on the rhyming of history.
We will pay 50 years mortgages on a home on the the shadow of an AI data center that leaves us 4 hours of usable electric per day, and our neighborhood will be overrun with houses full of jeets and Chinese students. Sounds like a great future.
TakeAHardLook
Fifty year mortgages: My first thought on this is:
If Trump & Co. want to help the Middle Class vis-a-vis Housing/Home Ownership, a 50-year mortgage program is surely The Road To Perdition.
Just get the interest rate down to 2.5-3% range and the money will flow, people will become hopeful again and the crisis will be averted.
The Banksters will STILL make a profit–that’s guaranteed–but a lesser one than at our current 6.25%.
Thus, Trump & Co. won’t be taking the Nation down THAT road.
Not one of our “representatives” will push for sanity (low mortgage rates) but many will champion the ABSURDITY of a 50-year Mtg., yet Trump & Co. are touting this harebrained scheme as “innovative.”
It is said that Jesus cast the money lenders out of the temple….

And people on here, quite a while ago called us all negative Nellie for calling Trump out and saying don’t buy into his BS, and that he is controlled opposition. Rep and Dem are 2 wings of the same bird. Our entire government has been manipulated and has grown into a self serving entity for the select few who are pulling the levers. If you end up on a voting ballot as a choice for any meaningful position, then rest assured they have been vouched for. I don’t have the answers but this VOTING BS and rhetoric has got to end for anything productive to begin.
Big Ruckus D
Indeed. I squawked about this likely outcome well back before even the election, when the great orange one was overfilling stadiums with zealous adherents to his schtick. I watched his first term play out. Roadblocks placed in his way notwithstanding, he was a known quantity after those 4 years. I expected nothing much different a second time through.
But people didn’t want to hear that. They thirsted for a savior, and he conveniently said all the right things at the time. I was unimpressed, and didn’t cast a vote because the stench of the presidential ballot was worse than that of the grease trap at a slaughterhouse. Now I have vindication for my point of view (not that it’s worth much of anything), but I do love saying “I told you so”. People who truly believed either still do, or hate me for pointing out the folly of their dedication to the man (without really acknowledging that I was, in fact, correct). The point is we are here because (most) people never learn; they exist in a sort of stasis where the perform the same actions over and over, and repeatedly get the same lousy results for having done so.
I’ve come to accept that only a great cataclysm (and the deaths of scores of people in the process of such an event) will ever move us off the status quo. That’s a bitter pill to swallow, but I am no longer burdened by the false hope that someone will show up and solve anything. It simply can’t be done in any orderly fashion, there is too much resistance to – and fear over – making the needed changes. Our fall will be as spectacular as our rise once was. Just the natural cycle of it all, I guess.

Welcome to BlackPill Hills, USA, BRD.
Come on over, where the water is…………..brackish, at best!
Big Ruckus D
Appreciate the welcome, but I’ve been hiding out at Black Pill USA for a goodly while already. It’s the only destination that made any sense based upon the trend I was seeing years ago. Everyday there is further evidence to support that viewpoint.
I’ve recently butted heads with a long time friend (of ostensibly right wing ideals, but now appearing to be more of a conservacuck) over his insistence in continuing to unquestioningly support Trump, even as he makes one massive misstep after another. Look at orange man’s Friday night social media lash out against MTG and Massie. Talk about a needless “own goal”. What the hell is wrong with this guy?
And, as with nearly anywhere else in this God forsaken country, the water is either fluoridated or otherwise compromised.
TakeAHardLook
All true! Beware false idols, it is said. I was in for DJT when he made improvements that backed up his words: the border, deregulation, etc.
But his obvious avoidance of the Epstein mess–and his outright scolding of anyone who even asks–is disingenuous at best. Bondi’s appalling record of non-prosecution is further evidence that Trump has dropped the ball–bigly.
His ferocious attack upon good people of his own party is another unforced error. Is no one in the West Wing (or his children) able to provide him a much-needed filter before he petulantly goes off like my 5 year-old granddaughter when her ice cream falls off the cone?
The we watch as Dinesh D’Souza, who (ironically) penned a book entitled “The End of Racism,” goes off on “whiteys” when (apparently) triggered by criticism of the H1b pathway with its free-flowing flood of pajeets into U.S. STEM programs and jobs.
He claims “American Citizen” status & beliefs–until his fellow pajeets are maligned–then he’s “India First.”
Tough shyt!
Back to DJT & “What the hell is wrong with this guy?”
He’s a classic narcissist, fed to the point of megalomania by legions of lackeys, toadies & lickspittles; his ego is daily inflated to gargantuan levels never seen before in America. Maybe nowhere in the Universe! The whole Universe!

He has once again surrounded himself with anti Christ Jewry as well scum maggot democrat rino wannabes filling his dumb ass head with all sorts of bull shit lies . The first thing he needs to do is dump Susy Wiles and some other rotten anti Christ Jews and he will begin to see daylight. Remember in lord of the rings one of the Kings that were needed to fight against saron and his wicked armies was under a wicked spell until the good wizard broke the spell over him and what we have here is almost the same situation.
highmaintenancelowtolerance
I’m not throwing anyone under the bus after only 11 months of a 4 year commitment. Like his first term he’s struggling to move mountains with a congress, judges, and sometimes the Supreme Court, piling as many obstacles as possible in his way. None of us have endured the pressure he has been faced with for the past many years. I never expected him to be everything I had hoped for but in my opinion he’s still the best we’ve had in a long time. He’s inherited the results of the Clinton, Obama, and Biden eras (what is that, 20 years?) and you expect him to have all his plans and promises fulfilled in 11 months? Sure, I wish he would quit calling people names but if that’s the only way he can vent (with humor sometimes) then sobeit. Otherwise I’ll be patient, allow him a little more reign to play his chess game the way he sees fit, and hope God continues to work through him.

This!^ Trump inherited a pile of BS to sift through, communist judges fighting him all the way. Who said anyone that you agree with 80% of the time is not your enemy? I would have preferred someone like Trump that wasn’t Trump as prez but ANYTHING was better than Harris. Unfortunately, I believe that the hispanics will abandon Trump over his treatment of illegals, we’ll most certainly have a democrat house and senate in ’26 and a democrat president in ’28. Trump has merely delayed the demonrat game plan by 4 years
TakeAHardLook
Legal Hispanics will not be able to be introspective on the matter of illegals; they are much better at thinking “Tribal” than Wypepo and they are able to ignore the sordid history of South America and the fact that the latter has produced nothing more than an endless succession of banana republics, countries so poorly run that they drive their own people away.
Those driven out invariably migrate to OUR shores.
And clearly we don’t need a fkn ONE of them.
Big Ruckus D
Meh. More excuse making. I don’t need 3 more years to objectively assess his job performance. What I’m seeing right now in real time with his sudden derailment over criticism of his handling if the Epstein matter, the suggestions of 50 year mortgages, imports of massive numbers of Chinese students to keep the leftist universities solvent, and massive numbers of H1B’s to keep the tech industry (whose so called innovation mostly sucks now anyway) staffed with pajeet mediocrities, are all indications he has lost the plot (if he ever actually had it, that is).
And those are just the most recent highlights. His ass kissing to Israel has been an ongoing issue, as has the startling lack of prosecutions to come from his DOJ. He has clearly eschewed prioritizing the matters that got him the most support during the campaign, getting sidetracked on things of tertiary importance.
We saw this same pattern play out in his first term, so I was fully expecting it in his second. Of course we also saw plenty of people make excuses on his behalf during his first term with the very same whatsaboutisms that we are hearing now (but what about the things he has done?, and “would you prefer the alternative (Clinton the first time around, Harris this time). It’s tiresome and those sorts of retorts are just simplistic thinking meant to reflect and deny and criticism levelled against the man.
I’m going to call out massive, embarrassing failures, and I’m not going to stop because of some half baked defense. Simply put, he isn’t doing what he ran on. He has adopted a different set of priorities since entering office for his second term.
