The meme going around suggesting that ALL $38Trillion in debt is the result of graft or similar is likely 100 % right.
In the late 90s in CMS admitted to 1100 convicted felons in the school system. Wouldn’t expel them because they couldn’t afford to lose the Federal education funding.
But, but, my cheap labor. Cheap labor is a myth. The employer pays a low wage and the taxpayers pick up the difference because the cost of labor has been socialized. We pay for their housing, and education for the kids. We pick up the cost of emergency services (extensive) and medicare for them. Plus, they scam the system. In my building there is an apartment with 2 adults and one child from some jungle in central America. But they have 7 different names on their mailbox. Whatever could they be doing?
^^^This^^^. Back in the early 90’s a large, local hospital in Riverside, CA, where I lived, went bankrupt and closed its doors due to the cost of all of the wetbacks coming into the ER. I first saw the impact of these criminal invaders clear back in the 1970’s while a rookie Deputy Sheriff Jailer in another county.
And when that naive, clueless old man, Ronny Rayguns, got behind the dipsomaniac Senator Teddy with the 1986 “Immigration Act”, the final nails were pounded into the coffin of our Republic. As much as I support the efforts of ICE, it looks like they are pissing in the wind. And I am curious as to why the NG soldiers are being pulled out of the Blue Hives. We live in troubled times.
