  1. Haven’t watched the interview [yet], but I’ve been actively suggesting the same thing to my family. Something absolutely not sitting right with me regarding Susie Wiles… nothing concrete, I just had a visceral reaction when I heard her name the first time.

  2. While this is one working theory, I have to ask: is Trump capable of thinking for himself? I find it hard to believe he would suddenly make a massive shift in policy and priorities at the promlting if those around him merely by suggestion. Now, if he has been bribed – or threatened – it makes more sense. Unless he was just blowing smoke from the get go (and that’s entirely possible) about his priorities.

Stuff like 50 years mortgages, 600,000 Chinese students to keep universities solvent, and endless H1B’s (all while insulting the intelligence and capabilities of actual Americans) are so far out of left field versus what his (ostensible) positions were previously that it just doesn’t make sense to me that he was merely persuaded into proposing those items by his inner circle. He’d have to be an indecisive, ideologically mushy moron for that to have taken place with no other underlying explanation. Nothing makes sense anymore, and nothing can be taken at face value.

  3. There was plenty of swamp creatures sabotaging his first administration. No reason to believe it’s not happening this time.

    1. Agreed. He should have gone in this time not trusting anyone but family. He really needed people like Gen. Flynn vetting his choices. But even having good people at the top won’t move things much as there are too many evil people scattered throughout the Blob

    2. And this goes to my original question: is he capable of thinking for himself, or is he just a malleable yes man who can be so easily steered into disaster by the suggestions of those around him? Does he have no concept of the backlash he is getting right now? For someone who is supposed to be so engaged in social media, I can’t imagine he doesn’t see many of the posts excoriating his missteps. If that’s the case, then he was never fit for the position to begin with.
