An unknown–but large–number of SNAP monies are sold to others, the cash then being used for booze, drugs and anything else BUT food.

The Democratic socialist Marxist party are doing all they can to cause chaos and begin a civil revolt using Cloward and Piven but, they are so ignorant the blame goes squarely on them and there Bolshevik party led by Obama, Jeffries and the shmendrik shlemiel Schumer.
The 5B is emergency funds for unexpected emergencies such as hurricanes and wildfires. The current shutdown is a wholly expected administrative event.
In another few weeks, winter storms could provide the reason for using those funds. They should be used only for US citizens.
Shut it down. SNAP is an extension of USAID. Let’s FA and FO, shall we?
