   Last night I watched an old interview of William F. Buckeley as he trashed Rand. Then I remembered how this craven, Ivy League Fraud trashed and fired one of his writer employees, Joseph Sobran at National Review, who would not be a part of the National Review Israeli Amen Corner.
   What everyone misses when they trash this prescient woman is the individual human, unfettered by the wealth confiscation of the Leviathan is free to exhibit charity to others based upon his/her financial circumstances and obligations. Granted, Rand was an atheist. But Christian charity in America and even England was ongoing for decades prior to the turn of the last century. It was not a mandated FEDGOV program. Think of Jane Adams-Hull House. Think of William Booth and the Salvation Army, and many others. I still will refer to the soliloquies of the characters in ATLAS SHRUGGED when some whining, clueless local collectivist fool cheerleads the latest “public school levy.”
   If you take the previous article about the implosion of USTs seriously, Atlas is indeed going to shrug. And those of us who have held things together and see their honest, hard-earned wealth confiscated through inflation or by our corrupt political system will “Go Galt” in their own ways, using their own plans and tactics. Bleib ubrig.

      Knowing what we do now about that poofter buckley, I’d say the entire pantheon of his life’s work can be dismissed out of hand. He was a fake conservative, and a gatekeeping piece of crap who was in place to assure neoconservatism continued to be the prevailing strain on the right, instead of actual hard-nosed policy espoused by the likes of Pat Buchanan.

      We are, of course, all the worse off for it now. If neocons had been tamped down and soundly rejected in the late 60’s to mid 80’s, we might’ve kept the left at bay, and even reduced their influence. World history up to this point in time would also look quite a bit different, I expect.
