5GW Meets 3GW

From Vox Popoli

The militaries of the West are not even remotely ready to fight WWIII:

A top military official has claimed that Nato is more than a decade behind Russia’s military capabilities, months after a British brigade was wiped out by a Ukrainian unit in war games. Last year, the UK took part in a war simulation in Estonia involving more than 16,000 troops from 12 Nato countries but were ‘destroyed’ by Ukrainian troops in a ‘horrible’ defeat.

The embarrassing loss came only months before Ukraine’s former commander-in-chief warned that it will take more than a decade for Nato to catch up to half of Russia’s military capabilities. Valerii Zaluzhny, considered to be one of the most trusted public figures in Ukraine, has said Nato was still behaving as if future conflicts would be similar to the Second World War.

Kyiv’s ambassador to Britain reportedly said: ‘Most likely, Nato will remain in the same form as it is, and will spend 12 years, like Ukraine, transitioning to standards that need to be achieved in order to reach at least half of the level of the Russian Federation.’ The former general added that Ukrainian forces were superior to armies in Nato, who were still working to ‘doctrines’ set up in the 1940s, according to The Times.

It’s not possible. The Western fake democracies have degenerated under six decades of liberalism, feminism, and immigration, so their capacity to even make the necessary decisions to begin catching up is nonexistent.

It’s not an exaggeration to contemplate the possibility that 5GW marks the effective end of the West’s centuries of dominance.

And it’s no accident.

Over the past few decades, studies are showing something unusual happening:  people aren’t willing to fight for their country anymore, especially in the West.  Back when I was a kid watching Red Dawn, I couldn’t see myself not fighting for my nation if it was in need, and I was far from alone.

What changed?

  1. I listened to Michael’s video this morning on the way to work. He is scary accurate.
I’ve suggested for years now, they’ll do a false-flag ala 9/11. Expect a carrier to go down, 5k sailors lost. They will blame Iran, send in the troops, another 20-year war in the middle east.
They KNOW people won’t support the war as things stand now. So they will need to create a an excuse, and history shows, they will sacrifice thousands of us to kick off their plans. Pearl Harbor, Gulf of Tonkin, Bay of Pigs, 9/11, Oct 7th… You don’t need to be a genius to see the method to their madness.

I am not sure if a FF would be attempted, but I am certain that it will not work this time. We have no troops to send in, no way to get “them” into the theatre that is secure from Iranian fire, no militarily sound options for projecting land forces decisively against Iran, insufficient ammunition reserves to conduct sustained kinetic operations beyond a couple of weeks, an ongoing supply crisis that has reached the attention of the mainstream media, and a morale problem growing among the deployed personnel.
Since we cannot wage a war for more than a couple of weeks now without all of that and more breaking beyond repair, it is out of the question that we can be expected to stretch things out for any length of time without a drastic drop in the operational tempo. I suspect DJT is planning to invade Cuba with light forces from CONUS that have no utility in the Middle East. That will not require so much of the high end systems, as the Cubans are nearly defenseless as it is. It would be a good distraction from the Iran defeat if it appears to go well at first.
If a carrier is sunk by Iran, FF or not, the more likely result will be massive public outcry to end the Iran war and not to escalate it. It is not a matter of public will to fight Iran at this point. The problem is we cannot fight Iran, and a sunk ship and high casualties does not change that, it only emphasizes how weak and ineffective we are. Sending more carriers to be sunk in the same manner is not going to convince anyone that you have won the war. We already hit them with everything in the conventional arsenal that we have and that accomplished nothing. Even talking about nukes is an admission of defeat. Reinforcing defeat with more defeat still equals defeat.

  2. Your comment includes the phrase “fighting for my nation if it were in need.” The US has not fought a war out of need (other than the need to secure heroin, cocaine, opium, or profits for the MIC) since 1945 (and plenty to be said about that war too). Everyone knows this and any lack of enthusiasm stems from it. Any war with Russia will be the result of pig-headed behavior on the part of politicians who rightly should be regarded as our enemy, NOT RUSSIA.

And of course nothing has advanced since the 1940s. That would have reduced the graft, kickbacks, and profits in the Pentagram corruption network.

“I would envision press gangs like those in Ukraine. Unlike Ukraine, the mothers and wives of our young men have access to shotguns. Would they use them on the press gangs?”

Only a feminist would do such a thing! Just kidding. The answer depends on the type of war. Is the homeland invaded? Then we will all have to fight. If it is for over there, press gangs will not work, as it is so easy to sabotage your own side by, say, starting a ‘laundry’ fire on an aircraft carrier.

      1. Ukraine breaks most of the rules for how a modern society should function. I’m not sure it is a good model for what to expect from the US FEDGOV here at home. The closest thing we have seen to that is the legitimate ICE roundups of illegal invaders. These have been very limited and have not even come close to netting the millions of invaders currently at large. If you have to round up kids that way at random, there is no way you are going to keep them quietly in uniform on a base while you train them. They will desert in droves as soon as you take your eyes off of them. US bases in CONUS are more like industrial parks than prisons. There is no way to keep involuntary people on them and in uniform for any length of time if they were drafted or worse, dragged off the streets. It would take a whole other army of armed troops standing around guarding them to keep them from melting away.
In Ukraine they shoot people on sight who try to retreat or desert. If we have to go to that level to have an army then we won’t have an army very long.
What many people in and out of government fail to appreciate is how much of a standing cadre is required to train an army from scratch. The current TRADOC strength and dispositions are geared toward a known and sustained peacetime recruitment inflow that can steadily absorb and train new recruits at current levels without too much slack. If you want to go to universal service and expect the current system to absorb and train millions of new recruits, where do you expect to house them all, where are all the drill instructors going to come from? You simply cannot just turn something like that on like a light switch and expect it to produce a 3 million man army 6 months later. Your only quick option is to mobilize all reserves like 1940, train cadre for 6 months, and double the size of the standing army just to have the training command in place.
The only reasoning that argues in favor of mandatory military service is the AI impact on the job market that will keep millions of people unemployed. That, and the Marxist love for universal service and the opportunity to control and monitor people while enslaving them.

  3. I will say they try and “press gang “kids into foreign adventures the mothers with shotguns just one of many groups that will fight for the kids/keeping them home.

I will fight for my own country, including saving the countries kids if the need arises.
