US Pauses Iran Bombing Campaign As Saudi-Houthi Red Sea Front Erupts

Meanwhile, the US appeared to pause its 13-day campaign of daily overnight strikes against Iran. While there was no indication that the operational halt would extend into next week, the pause certainly reinforces the diplomatic signals highlighted in our US-Iran wrap on Friday.

However, there was an escalation overnight with Saudi-led strikes on Iran-backed Houthi targets in Hodeida. This comes after the terror group attacked multiple Saudi-linked tankers in the southern Red Sea area.

More clutching at straws false optimism. Makes me question everything else he writes. If the fixed infrastructure for extracting the oil and transferring it to ships is destroyed, the Strait itself becomes largely moot in an energy context. It is not possible to defeat the Iranian IRBM dominance of everything within reach or those missiles because all existing interception systems are ineffective and too expensive. As you can see with the Yemeni strikes on the Saudi pipeline terminal at Yanbu, a pipeline that is in range is no alternative to Hormuz in time of war. The missile production in Iran is also mostly beyond reach and effects of anything we can throw at it to stop it, that is what Trump/Caine/Hegseth have been banging their heads against the wall to solve since February without success.
One piece or another of the American Military machine is going to break at some point soon and that will end this. The fuel will run out, or the ammo for offensive operations will run out, or politicians will start backing away from all of it out of fear of lynch mobs physically hanging them when the consequences crush the finances of normie America.

  The system will crash before that happens and they will all run away to their boltholes in New Zealand and Paraguay while we deal with all the fallout…But we deserve it since we tolerated it…

Roth, unfortunately peace or withdrawal is not what Trumps masters want, per various Jew leadership statements. They put us in this position and are fine with the US and Iran bleeding out for their pogroms.
