The video is real footage of Unitree Robotics’ actual Super Athlete AS2-W, a wheeled-leg hybrid quadruped robot they officially announced and productized. Unitree (a real Hangzhou-based company known for commercial quadrupeds) posted it from their verified account, and the same demo appears on their website (unitree.com/As2-W), YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and coverage from tech/news outlets.
As we see various vids of the Chinese robots and how wonderful and carefree it will all be after we kneel to the masters. But what about those who don’t want to live in The Circle (Tom Hanks version) or Westworld like utopia. Think hard about what these things can do such as this one. But when they talk about payload think in terms of 16KG of Semtex or C4 or fertilizer/diesel mix or a SAW or GAU type minigun attached to them. Then think about your preps and what you have and you will see a massive hole in your capabilities against the new tech.
It will be all about defensive tactics. Plan and train about how to lead a target before engaging, how to channel these devices to a deadfall which will slow them down enough to neutralize the immediate threat, and figure out their origins, vis-a-vis your A/O. Be mindful of the old, tired cliche`: “There is more than one way to skin a cat.” This is another example of the “small doses” of the Leviathan’s encroachments which I and others have been ranting about for years. I’m sure they already have ones that can do that…When you can mass produce things you can have each one do specialized task…I know you were just joking and I laughed but people really need to think hard about this stuff and realize hiding in the woods with a few friends isn’t going to cut it…You need to have your own industries producing a counter to everything they can think to throw at you so they might just leave you alone because of MAD…Our side needs to stop thinking small or we will cease to exist…
