   To lie to others is bad. Common but still bad.

   To lie to YOURSELF is unforgivable.

   We weren’t not Gullible; we wanted a HERO to SAVE US while we watch at a safe distance.

   Our moral compass needs calibration:

   “Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place.” – Psalms 51:6

   I had no opinion of him through the 80’s and his businessman years. He seemed to be just another NYC trust fund hack to me. When he ended up with that reality TV show where her rudely fired his pretend employees my dislike for him grew considerably. When he emerged on the political scene before 2016, I initially dismissed him like many others. He seemed to be saying most of the right things though and he seemed to resonate with many ordinary people I knew who were mildly conservative and had not shown any previous strong political inclination before that. I remember telling a friend who I discussed politics with at the time that if this was our savior, then we were in big trouble.
   Still, he represented an apparent outsider who bucked the party insiders we all hate. In reality a NYC millionaire celebrity cannot possibly be an outsider, but he won over the desperate Right who was looking for someone to elect that would finally represent us, or so we thought. He won despite the odds in 2016 and we all know how it played out. Despite some mighty efforts to look like he was going to deliver, he was often sabotaged by the Uniparty, and failed to deliver on most of it. I supported him through most of it until he undeniably sold us out with the Israel business. AT this point i still support much of his domestic agenda, but there is little hope that it will be carried out or that there will be any lasting effects beyond his term.

   All that comes to mind, for the reason for his being a turncoat, is that he is being blackmailed with the Epstein files (by Israel) and he will not let that happen if he wants to accomplish anything positive over all in his time remaining. All members of Congress also have a part in preventing the revealing of the files, so they comply with the puppetmasters in doing what is required to block any success Trump attempts. If these things are true, then the only honorable thing for Trump to do is to blow the lid off the files and take many others with him towards the end of his term. Does he have the gumption to sacrifice his name, pay his penitence, and save his soul and the country he loves.

      Great comment. The entirety of congress is being blackmailed, bribed, threatened, etc. We just can’t hate this entity enough. We have ZERO representation and it isn’t about to change. Hell, they just voted for the NDAA, WITH section 219 (israel ties) intact. I pray the senate votes this down.

      I am with you regarding the “E files” and all that goes with them. Rip the band-aid off and let the chips fall where they may. If 90% of congress is involved, then let’s see who they are and get rid of them or prosecute them (or both).

      My spidey senses are telling me there is something else going on behind the usual scenes of the kabuki theater know as congress. We’ll see in the next couple months.

   I would like to believe we were not, we were just to trusting and believing our voices will be heard for the changes that were needed to return our government to some form of moral and ethical clarity.
