How far would a Tsunami travel up the Potomac from the Chesapeake Bay? Asking for a hundred million fed up Americans.
This device has not been real world tested. So there is no way to know how effective it is. In fact there is no way to know for sure it even exists. It is just as likely that its nothing but Russian propaganda. The USSR/Russia has a long history of unsubstantiated claims regarding their capabilities.
Based on the time that this has been developed, the cost and this announcement, I have no reason not to believe it. I doubt Trump will be willing to take a chance that it is an idle threat.
