You might have minor tactical nukes used but I wouldn’t count on this occurring. If they wanted to they could use the rod of god from a space based platform they have which is non nuclear and could destroy the mountain and collapse it in on anyone who is in the DUMB. Will they do this maybe and maybe not. If they did use this weapon this conflict would be over within one day, we will see what they do. Hegsteth made mention today at the senate hearing the weapons they haven’t used because they are so far advanced and one of them I believe was the rod.

If they have these ultra advanced weapons that exceed the destructive capability of tactical nukes, why are they not being used? Is it not desirable to minimize the amount of time and resources spent on defeating an enemy, and the collateral damage that comes with such a war? Or was that (as I suspect) never the point to begin with?
I’m really starting to think that their big talk of advanced weapons is mostly just that: big talk. The money that was budgeted for their R&D and production was likely pissed down a rathole of grift by the politicians and defense contractors alike, leaving nothing to deliver actual finished products. So now these purported wonder weapons exist mostly as chimeras, the use of which is repeatedly threatened, but never actually materializes.
As to what they will turn God’s green Earth into: the choices now appear limited to either sand fused into glass, or just a basic subsistence level shit hole populated by dusky, functionally retarded slaves.
I believe they used this weapon on a Chinese factory years ago and it was utter destruction and one big crater was left, I believe you can find this story on line still, it was sent as a warning to China and what they were building in that building.
FYI–your “Rod Of God” based in space by the USA is PURE FANTASY. But Russia does have a ‘rod of God-ish’ system currently deployed and operational and it’s called “Orishnik’ which delivers 6 warheads containing 6 rod-of-God-ish penetrators at hypersonic speeds to targets. It was used last year on a missile factory in Ukraine which has an underground complex left over from the cold war–which was used for their war manufacturing effort. The Orishnik penetrators turned the underground complex to literal dust (as reported). Another Orishnik strike recently took out an underground command complex in Ukraine wiping out quite a few NATO officers along with Ukrainian military–turning them into literal pink mist. The Orishnik penetrators went down over 300 feet into the bunker complex. I do believe that Russia has supplied Iran several Orishnik launcher systems in the past few months–most likely with Russian operators. They are most likely laying in wait for the right opportunity to strike–as these things have nuclear-level destruction capability without all the associated atomic-level collateral damage.
You need to read the story from years ago of what happened to a factory in China and it’s probably on line still if you can find it.
The factory was mysteriously an utterly destroyed with nothing left but a giant crater and the factory completely turned to dust, Iam only speculating on this but I believe the U.S. military used that weapon on that factory and to send a warning to China.
This weapons was built under the Star Wars weapons systems under Raegan and they perfected it over the years after he left the presidency. I could be wrong but I have a sneaky premonition this is not fantasy as you say. I have seen things in my life when I was working for an electric utility company in nuclear power plants as well as other r&d projects that the company had built prototype types of free energy, heating up hot water without the use of hot water heaters and turning ice cold water and forcing it thru pipes and special orifices and at the other end of the pipe came hot water at 132 degrees. These projects get shelved and put away in the corporate vaults.
I’ll entertain the possibility of their existence. But it’s difficult to be confident in these systems being real when there are virtually no records on their use (the one you presented as a potential exception), and how badly we now know we are getting ready ripped off by virtually everyone who is sucking at the government teat.
I fully expect we will eventually come to find that many of these highly advanced weapons either don’t exist at all, or exist at a level of capability and available quantity that is far less than we’ve been told they do. If only because I have to figure it’ll eventually be revealed that huge percentages of MIC funds over multiple decades were just straight up stolen, and ultimately produced nothing.

Without first hand knowledge, I would have to fall back on some logic and reasoning regarding wunderwaffen in US hands.
The US is notoriously incapable of doing anything in secret as far back as the Manhattan Project. Stalin was kept well aware of progress on that through his tribe member spies inside the program. China has stolen or bought just about every “secret” or semi-secret weapon system design we have worked on in the last 40 years as well. Same is true with the Jooos through people like Johnathan Pollard. We all conclude that Israel owns of government and military, so there is no reason to conclude that they would not have stolen and sold such a system to our enemies. At the very least, it could not have been built without Russian and Chinese knowledge of the program, it is simply too large to hide when you need NASA to get it into orbit and build it out there for you. If we had been doing that, Russia at least would have built a matching system.
Another argument against the probability of such a system is the behavior of Trump since this war started. His lofty demand of Unconditional surrender on day 2 or 3 have evaporated and he is willing to settle now for status quo antebellum as a metric for building his Triumphal Victory Arch. If ROG existed in the way it is described/speculated/proposed in various places online, it would have the advantage of producing results without the radioactive, political, and psychological drawback of using nuclear weapons. This of course would have been an irresistible tool for Trump since 28 Feb since everything else they have tried has fallen flat. The Iranians were digging out the underground missile cities we were hitting and getting them back online within a day in some cases and mere hours in at least one instance that I read about. As they are dug under high granite mountains, all we can do with massed conventional bombs is bury the entrances, which was anticipated when Iran designed them. The penetration weapons can be deployed against air ducts, but this has not been shown to work either.
It should be noted that after 40 days of throwing everything we had at them except nukes, Trump signed a MOU that was essentially a surrender document and an admission of defeat. The text is available to anyone on the planet and Trump and Fox News can ignore it or pretend it says something else all they like. The pathological double talk, smoke and mirrors, and threats have not moved the Iranians off of the Strait and if our weapons were working it would be open and under our control. There is no way in my estimation that Trump would not have used this by now if he had it.
My last point is that Pickaxe and many of these other facilities are under several thousand feet of granite. Pickaxe mtn is about 6000 feet. The facility is a further 200 or so meters deeper than that. The published penetration depth of our best penetrators is measured in hundreds of feet against concrete. That is not going to cut it. I don’t know if we produced a nuclear version of the GBU-57 in secret, but that would probably only result is a nuclear blast at the entrance 200 feet down. The explosion would produce a massive amount of fallout downwind into Pakistan, India, China, and Southeast Asia without any certainty that the facility itself under the mountain would be destroyed. By my calculation, Pakistan and China would take American nuclear fallout on their territory as an act of war. Pickaxe is not even known to be completed, and the intended purpose and true status is not known. Given that success is unlikely, even using a combination of our GBU-57 and some tactical nukes, I doubt anyone would brief this course of action to Trump as a solution.
