Heh, I think we all know what the biggest threat our nation faces is. And it sure the hell isn’t the collapse of the MIC.
These whores are going to have to learn to make due with less, like the rest of us are every day now. We have officially reached the point where I cannot even speak of the things I would do to these people in retribution for what they’ve wrought.

President Eisenhower’s last speech to the nation warned about ‘the military industrial complex’ –which was largely ignored BTW. And currently if President Eisenhower was alive his mind would be boggled by the state of the current military industrial complex–which is now at least 100 times larger than he could have possibly imagined. This money we are wasting on our military is largely wasted–and is a massive boondoggle benefiting a handful of corporations. It’s interesting to note that for every 9 dollars the USA spends on defense, Russia only spend 1 dollar… and gets the identical results or better (as seen in their superior missile and nuclear capabilities). We are being fleeced.
And the dept of war has never passed an audit. Hmm, maybe it would show who is getting paid .
