  1. It would be great if AI takes over primary care health services. No more visits to doctors offices at their convenience. Doctors who only want to keep you on drugs or outright kill you.

    1. I suppose you never thought that MAID services would be “offered” to the non-economically viable “citizens?

MAID services Canadian Medical Assistance In Dying.

AI isn’t likely to have sympathy or morals against killing off “useless eaters”.

  2. The entire medical cabal will change if that’s true. I, for one, don’t trust that robots can outperform surgeons as there are way too many things that can pop up in a surgery that AI will not be able to adjust to.

I definitely don’t like the “saving for retirement…” piece. And what in the world does that mean? WE are all dead or universal income?

The times are changing so fast it’s really hard to keep up with what the commies are doing. What I absolutely do know for a fact is that the only good communist is a dead one. (been said many times before)

  3. “AI” is still programmed by humans incorporating all of their faults and biases. PatriotMa makes a good point about the risks involved with “AI” surgeons.

  4. Saving for retirement won’t matter? Why? Just a few possibilities

    1. CBDC becomes reality and the govt uses your savings to keep the debt game going a little longer. Gives you digital currency which is worthless because they dictate how you can spend it
    2. Population collapse due to (insert reason here) causes financial meltdown money becomes worthless
    3. Hyper inflation erodes any savings buying power, govt inflates attempting to “grow” our way out of national debt.
    4. AI causes major job losses, to many people on assistance govt resorts to Universal basic income
    5. Unaffordable large scale war, see inflation, cbdc, and possible currency cancelation.

Any of these are currently real possibilities. Hard assets will probably be worth more. Land, real estate, food, water, ammo, precious metals, unique skills.

  5. Saving for retirement won’t matter because you won’t be able to retire. They’ll just keep you on the hamster wheel till you are used up and die. Can’t have peasants building generational wealth. We’ll be like the turd world, just interchangeable economic units in a dystopian electronic prison society. Unless we rise up, throw off the elite’s yoke and wipe them out completely. People need to be taught that great wealth and building business is a responsibility to the people that you employ.

  6. 1. Yes and No, many college degrees are worthless such as LGBTQ studies etc as soon as one graduates. Will still need Medical / Engineering / Science etc grads, just maybe not as many
    2. Yes most transactional work can be replaced by AI
    3. Not sure about this, still want a human surgeon when heart / brain / etc surgeries are required
    4. No – no one is going to take care of you other than you. Look at all the people on welfare, I don’t want to be in their shoes, dependent on the govt.

  7. Having spent my entire career in Wildlife Conservation I can say unequivocally that AI cannot do that job. Sure, some aspects like law enforcement might be possible, but being in the environment and understanding (feeling) it enough to be able to make the necessary adjustments to optimize it for the native species cannot be done by an abiotic entity.
