An Honest Question

Why would any American who remains faithful to the Republic established by our Founders still pledge their allegiance to the United States?

#1 As a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans, I have difficulty pledging to a country that invaded and conquered my country and in so doing centralized power at the Federal level destroying States Rights. This began the gradual erosion of most of the foundation of the Republic as established in the Constitution. That said, for many years I did just that.

#2 Why pledge allegiance to a Federal government that has, since 1865, engaged in one war after another wasting lives and treasure that never seem to benefit the American people who pay for them in blood and taxes?

#3 Why pledge allegiance to a government run by men and women who are of such low character as to swear an oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, and then immediately upon installation into office violate that very oath?

#4 A nation under God? Well that’s a joke.

#5 Liberty? More laws restricting freedoms than the PRC and a surveillance apparatus being build to control our every move.

#6 Justice? Yep. Just us. No, not you and not me. Only them.

#7 Pledge allegiance to a government that has surrendered sovereignty to a tiny foreign country in the Middle East and then uses our military not to defend America or our freedoms, but to help establish Greater Israel?

#8 Pledge allegiance to a government that is intent on replacing the native population with the third world? Seriously?

#9 Pledge allegiance to a government that refuses to protect it’s citizens from violence in the streets, from predatory corporations, from the soft-kill being employed by the medical industry, pharmaceutical industry, technocrats, billionaires, big food, and military industrial complex?

#10 Pledge allegiance to a government that taxes half or more of our income to serve a banking cabal while allowing inflation to destroy our purchasing power?

#11 Pledging allegiance to a government run by pedophiles and psychopaths?

#12 Pledging allegiance to a government that cannot provide honest elections?

I could go on. I suspect so could you. So my question remains. Why swear allegiance to this evil empire? And, I may add, why be loyal to it in any way shape or form? Why defend it in any way? Why join the military today? Why bother voting? Why participate at all? Ignorance?

Don’t get me wrong. I love America and I have the utmost respect for the men and women who built this nation. But the Republic is gone. Finished. And so is the nation.

So … I pledge my allegiance to my family, my neighbors, and my folk, not to the United States of America. I hope, someday, we can live in a true nation again.

What say you?

  3. Under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.

The above beliefs and principles were what made America great. It is also the blueprint that they used to destroy us. Our churches surrendered, the government divided us and the judiciary codified it over two generations.

  6. Tens of thousands of tech workers are being laid off. Many permanently. Because of AI and also H1B visa holders are displacing them. Hopefully our side is recruiting them. An army of hackers on our side. Interesting. Of course, I’m assuming there is a qualified person up to the challenge.

  7. Bingo, Roth is on target.
Yes, you can be loyal to your country but pledging allegiance to it is basically just submitting to the .GOV and however they decide to sacrifice you to the chosen ones needs.

As you said, I do love my country and I am more of a Southern Nationalist myself.
But I have done the oath of office of the military and went wherever and did what was ordered and after decades of seeing what our .GOV and leaders truly are.

I WILL NEVER do that again.

  8. First and foremost, I pledge allegiance to Jesus Christ.

Then I pledge allegiance to my trusted family and friends.

I will not ever pledge allegiance to a political construct that wants me and my family dead.

    1. “I will not ever pledge allegiance to a political construct that wants me and my family dead.”

This is the key takeaway. Besides, being made to recite a pledge to a political construct (or even just a symbol of it) always felt too collectivist to me, as though it were copped from the communists.
