Common usage, yes it is treason. But Treason is the only crime defined by the Constitution, sadly Huckabee does not meet the Constitutional definition.
That is treason of the highest level, mostly all of our leaders are like him.
Seems as though Huckabee was captured and perhaps threatened. This man is no Christian and, IMHO, a squishy, questionable American.
Huckabee serves at the pleasure of the President. Let’s see how long a leash he is given. Currently, he is an embarrassment to the United States and yes, he should be recalled and summarily dismissed from government.
Treason in of itself is not defined by the government, it is defined and set by the citizens themselves. When we have been abused and marginalized by congress, presidents and their underlings and the bureaucrats and employees in agencies and military, that is when a plurality of citizens rise forth and raise the specter of Treason and abolish those that have transgressed our nation and it’s rightful citizenry.

The ONE AND ONLY REASON why Huck-the-Cuck is serving as ambassador to Israel is because it is an ass-kissing, rusty-trombone gesture to the Ultra-Right, Ultra-Whacked-out, Christian-Evangelical-Zionist types who comprise a good portion of the MAGA base. If you wondered why Trump brought on Mike Pence as his first vice president–it’s because Pence could mumble Jesus words on cue and make the Christian-Evangelical clap like trained seals on cue. And secondly, because Pence looked like Super Man’s father–it was purely a visual gimmick on Trump’s part who is a master of marketing. Pence was and still is today just an empty meat puppet in an expensive suit. Huckabee is only in Israel to appease the religious slatherings of the Christian-Zionists who are actively working for Armageddon and the pipe-dream of the building of the Third Temple–which, never, ever will be built BTW… as this is a clever psy-op carrot that the Israeli government and Mossad cleverly employed to keep these knuckle-heads licking their chops in anticipation. And it works, because hundreds of millions of dollars keep rolling into Israel every year by deluded Christian dunderheads seeking Revelations to unfold.
