Cooper set the example in WNC after Hurricane Helene. He did not stand up for working people and watched their suffering until leaving office. I have no doubt that this evil man will be our next senator. Once again, North Carolina loses representation of its people as we are sold out to special interests.

There is no question that Cooper was and will be an absolute horror in any elected office. But to be clear, we would be no better off with Whatley. I unfortunately had a fair amount of interaction with him during my time as an administrator for the State House. He’s kind of like Trump in that he could not tell the truth if his life depended on it. While “unoficially” lobbying, I have seen him work his way through a crowded ball room and take three different positions (two of them being complete opposites) on a given topic of concern. Not an ounce of integrity in him; an asbolute snake in the grass. Inasmuch as I will not again vote for the (slight bit) lesser of two evils, I will either not vote for this office or perhaps I will vote for the Libertarian (Shannon Bray seems like a decent guy). With that said however, I reminded myself of perhaps an even bigger issue: Except for possibly a few local offices, voting is a pretty ridiculous thing to do in general.

I believe the Republican party negotiates with the Democrats to throw elections or let RINOs like Tillis and Burr win. Look at the governor’s races in this state. I will not vote for state or federal offices ever again. Waiting and watching this once great experiment collapse into evil.

I usually adhere to the fact that they usually “find” just enough ballots to send the ballot for their chosen idiot like Doofus Cooper or ((Joshy Stein)), but your theory holds a lot of merit as it is clear the other side seems to be intent on letting the blue candidate take certain elections. I too have now decided to sit it out as it is just a choice of which evil traitorous moron will hold the seat.
