Let’s also not forget that Wilson’s desperate need to keep his bankster friends happy and rich led to the US doing everything possible to get us involved in WW1, which turned a stalemate that likely would have preserved the Russian empire, the Ottoman empire and others, into a much longer war, victory for France, Britain, etc, the overthrow of the Czar, the dissolution of the Ottoman empire and a century of horrors in the middle east, the destructive Treaty of Versailles, and the inevitable rise of Hitler and WW2. Amazing how interventions promoted as “making the world safe for democracy” can lead to far far worse ultimate outcomes.
If our grandparents generation could see what Europe has turned into do you think they would have actually invaded Normandy? Somehow I doubt it.
