Christianity would have evaporated quickly had all Christians been martyrs. Staying within the law and moral box when warring against no rules is suicide. Thinking the political system that allowed all this madness to occur will save us from the madness it created is naive and dangerous. There are historical reasons Lycurgis, Draco, Cincinnatus, Napolean and dictators came to be. What kind of America will exist is to be determined by those that recognize playing nice is folly. One can be just and honorable, but that alone does not subdue evil for long. IMHO.
That is all well and good, but you cannot win this war against people that want you dead and gone. At some point, we must pick up our swords and fight back or we die. I don’t see us winning this war with words alone.
