State collapse is inevitable when a society’s leaders are insulated from the negative consequences of their bad decisions.

But… But… But… He said J.D. Vance is going to get to the bottom of it, just you wait ‘n see.
All of those ‘clergy’ in that video clip need black eyes and to be told to knock off their communist BS.
This nation cannot stand as long as communists, especially the ones hiding behind the title of ‘clergy’, are allowed to live among us.
The “Clergy” have been actively involved in American politics ever since the “Civil Rights Movement.” That being said, if you understand the Communist takeover of MN via Hubert Humphrey and the Farmer-Labor Party, this all makes unpleasant sense. Together with the demonic ELCA, MN had been cratering for many years.
Calvin Coolidge once said: “The business of America is business.” One only has to look at the other Blue Hive states and cities and watch the exodus of working taxpayers, small and large businesses and even corporations to understand the economic meltdown which is happening to these syphilitic-thinking socialist enclaves. The bottom line is survival for any business. Target, which I do not patronize, just looked at their bottom line. Good for them. Bleib ubrig.
Terminate the illegals. find a shit pit and throw them in there.
This is neither surprising, nor is it the big news some outlets are portraying it as. Target was one of the original tenants of office space in City Center since it first opened in 1983, and they had a lease on the building that was to run through 2031, after the most recent renewal they’d signed in 2015. A decade ago was a far different time however, and they had already vacated nearly a million square feet of office space in City Center in the post covid era, due to both reductions in force, and work from home arrangements allowed for so many of the employees who previously worked in that building.
I don’t see their decision to break the lease as anything more than recognition of the fact that they’re not going to need any of that office space again, and would rather take a one-time hit of $110 million to escape the remaining term of the lease, then to go on continuing to pay rent on it needlessly for another 5 years. The building is plagued with mortgage debt anyway, and conditions for the viable use of such office space in downtown Minneapolis are not favorable going forward. That is undoubtedly why the owner of the building is going to put it up for sale.
Meanwhile, Target remains headquartered out of Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis, and there are no rumours of rumblings at all of them vacating that space. They will remain a woke outfit (even in the face of their now much reduced public enthusiasm for woke causes), and will continue to be headquartered and run from Minneapolis, so they’re not leaving the city by any stretch of the imagination. Further, this present real estate deal doesn’t mean that they have any weariness of remaining there amongst the woketards. It was done simply for the accounting benefit of taking a one time charge over a large ongoing multi-year expense that can no longer be justified. Hell, they may be able to parlay this into a corporate tax write down, as well.
Oh, and those snivelling “clergy” all need to experience some real oppression and suffering. What a bunch of insufferable idiots with punchable faces, whining over BS.
