Who cares about the Bear but, I guess they just woke up to how effed up there state is and there communist leaders are.
Now we just need the NY Giants to move to New Jersey… Oh, wait. Maybe the NY Jets will still.. Long Island? Sheesh!

Is this actually a done deal? I expect chicongo to pull out an 11th hour save (on the backs to the taxpayers, naturally) to keep from losing the team. Then again, maybe the city has reached the point of dysfunction that they’ll blow it, and the Bears will move. Not that I care either way, mind you.

Couldn’t agree more. But it will be instructive to observe how this shakes out. If they really move, then shitcago is even closer to the end of the line than might already have been assumed. A major city doesn’t simply lose a many decades long NFL franchise to distant suburbs in an adjoining state, if they aren’t already circling the drain, or very close to it.
One thing to be aware of as we get closer to the denouement is that the rate and scope of major civic failures will pick up markedly. I gather most who read and comment here already know that, but the NPC masses will find themselves increasingly shocked by previously unthinkable events that will be significant points of demarcation in the coming collapse.
You are correct – the NPCs of our world are under the spell of the media and their word magic. They have no idea and will resist accepting it. The ‘its not that bad’ chorus should be starting soon. Remember ‘mostly peaceful protest riots’ with burning buildings in the background? Ain’t seen nothing yet!
