I don’t care. I want Epstein extradited from Israel and put on trial. I want all of the files released with only the names of the victims redacted. I want justice but more than that, I want our nation to be moral, righteous and to have Sacred honor again. Whatever that price is, we need to pay it.

Hey David, I’ve been wanting to say this for a long time now, but you’ll understand why it’s taken so long for me to get it said by the time I get done. From what I understand as a christian, GOD is in complete control, and JESUS the CHRIST has “all” power in heaven and in earth! The word of GOD is true and inerrant! And GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that “ALL” should come to repentance! So, what does that have to do with what’s going on, not just here, but all over the world? In 2Chronicles 7:14 God told Solomon what it would take to heal a sick land, and that is where we stand today, in a “sick” land! A lot of folks try to say this promise is only to Israel because it says “if my people” but I don’t believe “wrestles with GOD” means GODs people more than “CHRIST LIKE”. (Which is Christian) The “shall humble themselves” part is the hardest for us as humans because it includes “fasting”! Now I’ve fasted a time or two, and I personally find it less than comfortable, but it got what needed done, me being humbled! (Not Bragging, LOL) Now the word of GOD says that the arm of flesh and man’s wisdom are not really able to avail much in the long run, but GOD is able to do what ever he wants, the way he wants to! So all that to get to this, Is there anybody else that feels that they would be willing to fast and pray for an extended time, that our nation might turn back to the True and Living GOD? This is why I’ve hesitated so long, I wonder would there be a few that would fast with me up to 40 days? No food at all? I might lose my job because of it, would it be worth it? I’m getting ready to take my wife to her doctors appointment, but I’ll check back after awhile and see if anyone feels like I do!
There’s more than 1 way to Fast, I’m Interested in joining you on a fast. I’dd rather miss some meals then deal with the Alternative Ugliness. In any case GOD Reigns and his Will be Done.
Hey Mike, I agree on the more than one way. Is there a way to schedule a fast together that would be easy done? I feel if enough get together and fast and pray that we could really see GOD move in a great way!
For Orthodox Christians (of which I am one) the Great Fast starts on February 23. No meat, no fish, no dairy, basically no animal products until Pascha (April 12).
Lent is a period of prayer, fasting, and repentance.
Also a period of reflection on just how sinful I am.

The English word “fasting” used in the Bible, along with the Hebrew & Greek words that it is translated from, means but one thing: TO ABSTAIN FROM FOOD.
There is no “fasting from television” or “fasting from this” of “fasting from that”. Those may be good ideas for developing better habits, honing self-discipline, etc., but that is not “fasting”.
Forgive me if I misinterpreted your comments, but it seemed to me that that was where you were going with them.
Nothing can compare with true Biblical fasting, (abstaining from food), when it comes to crucifying our flesh, experiencing true repentance, or engaging in spiritual warfare. Of course, it much be accompanied with PRAYER to be effective.
BTW: Fasting is very difficult at first. The enemy will be right there tempting you with excuses and procrastination. If you fail don’t give up. It’s happened to all of us. Keep trying. It gets easier and believe it or not eventually becomes something that is looked forward to as our flesh becomes crucified and we draw nigh to God.
Amen , I whole heartily agree! And this is the kind of fasting the enemy tries to convince you is unnecessary. Lets get together and do a real fast!
