So is anyone else of the opinion this whole mountain of shit started getting worse when they instituted electronic voting machines?
I’m old enough I remember the old mechanical vote tabulators they dragged out into the halls of the school every November. We always knew the results by 11 PM news, and nobody worried they were fraudulent or manipulated. Mail-in ballots were for overseas soldiers and handed out to them on base.
All of the ‘progress’ of the last 20 years has put us behind. Go back to what worked!
Oh yes. That, and mail-in voting. Oregon was the first state to implement state-wide mail-in voting in 1998, with ballots mailed out automatically to every “voter” in the state. Since then, the entire state has gone deep blue, with only the lightly populated eastern counties staying red, not to mention the gerrymandering of the entire state. So, yeah, the electronic machines are clearly incapable of ensuring legal, accurate election results, and they’re finally having to acknowledge this.
