  1. I got the same Vitamin D advice from my PCP about ten years back. It has made a big difference. Similarly, i still have a personal letter from Dr. Linus Pauling to my M.D. stepfather in the early 1970’s recommending 6K Mg.’s daily (over a 6-8 period) of Vitamin C. It has made a huge difference in my health over the decades. The truth is out there and so are a few good MD’s.

  2. You are correct! I also use the benefits of Vitamin C; the formula for one’s individual maximum tolerance of Vitamin C (in gram doses) is to take it until there’s an LBM (loose bowel movement).

    Back off by one gram from that endpoint and you are THERE!

    1. A good vitamin c is sodium ascorbate, it is buffered and non acidic and highly soluble in water. 1/2 level teaspoon is about 1.67 grams [1,670 mg].
