D.C. is a FEDERAL CITY. The ONLY Federal City. NOBODY BUT the federal government should be responsible for taking care of it. That is NOT the case with every other allegedly sovereign city, in every allegedly sovereign state in the US. The military has ZERO business in any of them, not just because of Posse Comitatus, but also because wasting time arresting people, only to have worthless DAs, police, judges, etc. release them back onto the streets is pointless. The people need to DEMAND that their cities are fixed, and need to SUPPORT the people who will fix them. The National Guard or even the Marines on the Streets of DC, while not something I like seeing, is probably what it required when the democrats who were elected to take care of the city….FAILED.
