  1. Finalizing the cut-sheet now. I just pulled half of the cash I need to pay my farmer for the half-steer I get in 2-weeks. Support your local farmer directly! Many of the one’s around here have figured out how to use marketplace and craigslist, if you try just a little you can find them. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. A half-steer should run around $2k, give or take. I’m looking at 2400-2500 for a grass-fed angus (that’s premium beef)

    1. I bought American Wagyu this past Spring. Incredible.

  2. kind of weird as I pointed this out to a few people a few years back.
that we NEED TO SUPPORT local farmers any way we can.
there are a few smaller farms around here and I try to buy whatever they sell. as it is local. might not seem like a big deal, but now with fuel prices going up, it will be a huge deal here soon enough. and food in the stores will go up like mad here because of the fuel prices.
also pointed out that if this country makes it thru the next shit show, it will be the areas with small farms that will come out better off than the ones with big farms will. local will ALWAYS win over anything that has to be shipped in.

  3. Soooo these farmers could do better with Mammals of socialism?

  4. Hardcore Republican?

    Translation: Gullible fools.
You only support those who support you and your values, if they don’t then fuck them. But if like a puppy that keeps getting beat by his owner you keep coming back for more with your tail between your legs, you DESERVE it…..

    1. He chose the lesser of two evils to support his livelihood. His other options were to vote Democrats and get no relief or not to vote. He represents most Americans: we are not willing to sacrifice to be free.

      1. Please expand this, David.

“we are not willing to sacrifice to be free”.

Allowing the worst of the two evils will somehow generate our chance to sacrifice to be free?

Or am I completely misunderstanding your post?

I’d like to understand this better.

        1. He cast his vote based on his personal finances. This is similar to voting for the candidate who says they would lower taxes. I knew a woman who voted for Obama in 2008 because she wanted lower taxes. Her personal result: her taxes were not lowered and her company was bought out. The new owners downsized employees, reduced her pay and increased her hours.

We continue to vote for the lesser of two evils which gives us more evil and poor candidates. I suspect that you already knew this is what I meant.

          1. Oddly I suspect most folks’ votes are for the candidate that will benefit them the most.

As sinful humans are getting elected the result shouldn’t be a surprise.

Even Davids son Soloman KNOWING what happens when you disobey failed.

SNIP Did King Solomon Repent Before He Died?
The Bible does not explicitly record Solomon repenting before his death, and scholars are divided — some see implicit evidence in Ecclesiastes and historical context, others see no such record and argue he died unrepentant.

            What the Bible Says
The narrative in 1 Kings 11 details Solomon’s later idolatry, his marriage to many foreign wives, and the resulting judgment that God would remove most of the kingdom from his line
