Be real.There are no sides most everyone in this country is out for themselves.That’s why this country is failing. If we were united federal state and local officials would be in gitmo or under six feet of dirt.

What is “unity?” When people do not share a common ancestry, a common religion, a common language, a common culture, a common morality, what possible “we” could there be? Civic Nationalism is the belief that supposedly shared ideals or beliefs or man-made ‘institutions’ are sufficient to unite disparate people. That there is one race, the ‘human’ race . . . despite numerous genetic studies showing strong divergent strains in human development. It is the belief that someone with thousands of years of a distant genetic (and thus religious and cultural) background can become an instant American. But experience has shown there is no such thing as magic dirt or magic citizenship papers.
Look at real demographic numbers. Stop and think about who you are assuming is part of ‘we.’ And if that changes nothing for you, you are not part of any ‘we’ I want a part of.

An example might be the leftists in Iran who found common ground with Islam, in the common enemy, the US puppet.
Such “unity” is fleeting, and cannot end well for *all* parties involved, but it *is* a thing that can and does happen.

I’ll side with those who love liberty more than wealth, the animating contest of freedom more than the tranquility of servitude, which currently is championed by no political party in this country, ond no others.

In the current political scenario there is NO neutral ground. You choose a side…and if not you WILL be assigned to one. And treated accordingly by the other.
