Excactly… way to late for this stuff… The trust has been well and truely expunged. Minimum three generations to get it back.

Funny that was my first thought, too. Anything that challenges or disrupts the (oh so profitable) status quo in the medical industrial complex is strictly verboten. How much is the treatment of heart disease and heart attacks worth to the industry now, and how much does this new treatment stand to lose them (assuming it even proves up as – dare I say it – “safe and effective”). This development is most likely to be bought up by big pharma and buried, and it’s creator somehow marginalized (or dead, under questionable circumstances).
The key question is what is the mechanism behind this…and what are the future side effects.
Hopefully she can raise private capital with no strings attached and is smart enough to store all the intellectual property with a couple other parties so it can’t be memory holed.
