Whoa. This is a serious antitrust accusation. It might even constitute a national security issue if true, and it sounds like it is.
Until people are once again held accountable for their crimes, one should be terrified of what these folks might be up to or what they might inadvertently unleash because they simply do not CARE.
These Jewish tech bros were planning a typical scam their kind does often. Spread fear about AI with stories placed by their people. “Beg” the government for regulation. Get their AIPAC, bought and paid for congressmen to push legislation written by the big companies that impose regulations they can afford. Presto, now no start up companies can afford to meet the new regulations. Small companies go under. This practice is called regulatory capture. I hope they all get jailed and their companies collapse. Smart retail investors will get out now.
That’s about what I smell going on here. They know their business model is FUBAR, so they’re trying to close the window to any additional competition by pulling the ladder up behind themselves. If they can make a case that they are crucial to national security (which should be easy, given Trump’s public pronouncements on the subject) then they are really set. What a bunch of shady, self dealing sonsabitches.
