I don’t know how this hasn’t been breaking trucking companies (and independent drivers) already. We have to be awfully damned close to an inflection point, as final retail pricing on goods transported by truck can’t keep up with the rapid rise in diesel prices. We are going to start seeing some eye watering price jumps at the grocery store, and basically everywhere else that has their inventory moved by truck or train at any point in the supply chain.
Stock up on frozen vegetables while you can still afford them, price is about to Jump.
