I see only one long term way to stop this and unfortunately the cure is just about as deadly.
All this control runs on one thing…electricity. If that goes away, it goes away. None of this could have happened even just a few years ago because there was not enough electrical infrastructure available.
Even today, there is not enough for full implementation but it’s close enough for some major additions/controls. Especially digital currency controls.
The future does not look bright in my opinion. In fact, we may all find ourselves in the 1800’s or before, yet again. It’s a fragile world.
