I don’t know about that. They’ve gotten bold enough, they just might ring an actual bell. Or sound the buzzer used at sports games to denote the end of a period. What would anybody do about it if they did?
We should get some custom flags made up that just have the word “False” printed on them. It could become the Garden flag of our time.

It maybe hubris that they THINK they can turn off the lights and later “BE HEROS” to turn them back on as chaos damages from craziness might do real damage to the systems and society.
Nemesis follows Hubris.
If it serves THEIR INTERESTS, it will happen.
I hope folks have really tested their grid down plans.
As in turn OFF the main breaker for a weekend for a start.
Shows weaknesses in your plan as I found out I was short one long extension cord and an extra power strip to keep both the downstairs fridge AND Freezer powered up.
A lot of extra work waking up every few hours to move that cord as I didn’t want to lose that frozen meat and fresh foods in fridge.
Kind of hard to run out to the UNPOWERED Grid Down Walmart to buy extras then.
THEN after that I tested a week down main breaker OFF.
Amazing how fast your gasoline for the generator runs out. As in grid down Gas stations will be closed that was interesting.
Was pleased how much the Solar picked up the slack. Pleased enough I doubled my battery storage and solar panels.
The second weeklong test I only ran the Generator for an hour now and then if it was cloudy to boost the batteries. I can run 240 volts for my well pump.
The real-world quiz might be a pop quiz sooner than later.
One aspect of WROL, Martial Law, False Flags, etc. which has not been talked about much is that it will be a golden opportunity to settle old scores. Folks in your A/O who are promoting Drag Queen Story Hours, LGBTQ+ propaganda for your kids/grandkids, school boards constantly ripping off property owners with consistent bond levies, planning commissioners taking bribes from developers, etc. They all have names and addresses. Keep that in mind. Plan accordingly.

Coming home after such a “setting the score run” to visitors who think your place would be a nice place to DO the Apocalypse would be bad. I’m pretty sure the Tax Inspector, the Police, the Spectrum workers and the UPS guy know and probably gossips about my place.

Must have a lot of gasoline to waste driving around hoping THEY didn’t already head out to “Their bugout-neighbors”.
Gas stations at least around here are part of local EMS-Police security planning as essential services get first priority.
BUT we have Nor’easters often with occasional weeklong power troubles SO we have to bring generators to get EMS refueled.
Also, who’s going to let us know it’s the BIG blackout and not a wonder when the power crews are going to get it fixed in a few days or not? The local PoPo will not be amused as most surveillance cameras have backup power for days and solar ones for a long time more.
Seems most FLOCK arrests are from the records of the camera that was “destroyed” or other cameras in the area.
I have a short list, and deniability is important as perhaps the “BIG Grid Down” might suddenly be fixed (IF it really was the Powers that BE flipping some switches).
Aside from all that IF it was a serious grid down event lasting more than a few days, a week plus it seems most of the Gay Parade folks and Liberals that tax woods ID folks will already be in real trouble for lack of water.
Simply keeping your AO secure and waiting a bit might “Settle the score” for you.
I’ve seen revenge runs in Bosnia, seems like the Hatfields and McCoys they went on for months.
Those conversations are being had at a local level now (at least here they are). I think that’s a recent change.
Who is going to be back home? Well, I will for one. What I opined above did happen years ago in Indonesia, of all places. The political upheaval when Sukarno was deposed brought mass riots and a lot of local scores were settled. Several folks on here and over at WRSA have been posting about the locals I described above having names and addresses. Dealing with them comes down to who has been wronged and will it be worth the effort, given the danger of the situation.
Over eleven years ago, when my tribe and I came to Kootenai County, the local woke, SJW Socialism-Abortion Party apparatchiks were, on occasion getting night letters after posting their screeds as LTEs or on social media. One proud Marxist (((tribe member))) even got his lights punched out and nothing was done about it.
It’s all about planning and patience, Michael. To run out and play Equalizer after the grid goes down is just plain stupid. The local forces of darkness and corruptors of children will be running around in tight little circles emitting high-pitched squeaking noises and the local PTB will be dealing with them. You and I have discussed around a year or so ago how after a few weeks of laying low a lot of “Troubles” will have died off from violence, but mostly from bad or no water. I know both of our areas in Winter really have near ZERO Water available.
3 days without safe water is near death.
The “I’ll melt snow and ice” folks haven’t done it. I went through Cold weather survival Training where we had to melt snow for drinking water, and it isn’t easy even with plentiful firewood.
You can easily get seriously dehydrated gathering the firewood.
I do suggest that when the lights go out everybody will be some sort of threat unless a trusted family or trusted friend.
One of my greatest issues is when (not if) returning family and friends want to bring IN a best friend or two because “I couldn’t abandon them” scenario.
Having trusted folks covering my 6 gives me great peace.
Most of the evil forces of darkness will die on their own unless they are in a hurry and visit my AO.
I’m not so sure the round up will work as some think. I believe there were some statistics put out about the amount of firearms in just the hunting community in the US and if I remember right the hunters outnumber the military by a large margin. So this is not including all gun owners in the country. And yes there is law enforcement, but there are many more people in a community than law enforcement. IF they are coming to take you to a camp they will also take all your stuff. What do you have to lose by resisting? I also don’t believe they have enough camps for millions of people. Didn’t one of the videos above say they are asking the military to fight for free. Do you think the military is going to be excited about starting this? If the power goes out your neighbors will be the biggest threat. Hungry people do desperate things. After a few days without power many people will volunteer to go to camps. Roth’s writings about coming together has been absolutely correct. We need folk we need tribe. Quit your damn bitching and whining and come together. But what do I know.
Stock up on fire extinguishers. If you can.
Methhead next door is priority one to making sure the perimeter is secure. Strange accidents are know to happen during such times.
