Ok, but are we really leaving NATO? I mean, trump talks all kinds of shit that is self evidently untrue, and clearly will never come to pass. My gut reaction says this will be the same thing. Besides, he can’t unilaterally end the treaty that makes the FUSA part of NATO, and I doubt there is the political will to break that treaty. Unless, of course, israel is going to be applying pressure to bring about that very outcome, and then I suppose damned near anything is possible.
Yep, sounds like another idea floated out there to test the waters. If and when israel decides to go after Turkey, we should NOT be anywhere near NATO. Is there political will in our useless congress to do anything except screw over the American people?
It sure looks (to me anyway) like the Western Hemisphere protection plan is President Trump’s goal. No country in the ME fits in that picture at all. Remains to be seen of course.

There are “Various” consequences to the Withdrawal of the USSA Empire from All over the globe.
In the Middle East the Arabs, Persians, Turks, & Jews will have to “Work Out” their relationships, one way or another, On Their Own.
In Europe the EU, No longer “Great”B, and Russia will have to “Work Out” their relationships as well On Their Own.
What is Still Not being discussed much domestically is “Why?” the USSA Empire is Withdrawing??? and It’s Simple …. Bankrupt*.. and The World Knows It.
Whether it Takes a Military Defeat to Show this or the Withdrawal occurs Politically does not Alter the Physical Reality.
