Governments

Star Trek was well known for addressing social issues in its episodes. This clip covered the evils of Nazi Germany. It made its point and I did not forget it even though I have not seen this episode in over 40 years.

I would like people to consider some points:

  1. The image of Israel in the United States has been severely degraded in the past 12 months.
  2. Nazi Germany has seen its image improve in this same period. Were we deceived by the victors writing of history? Is this something that should be discussed? My personal take is that this will be used to divide us. A good analogy is MAGA: who could disagree that the people should want to live in a great country. Instead, EVERYTHING associated with that movement is vilified.
  3. The purpose of this PATCON is to have people come together to discuss how to develop and live under a local governance structure for the benefit of everyone.
  4. There is a large difference between governance and government. If we do not understand this difference, we will serve under tyranny and our children will be enslaved after the collapse.
  5. Why is the United States supporting Ukraine which is openly displaying ties to Nazism?

It seems to me that once again we are being divided and manipulated. Are the above points worth our time and consideration? Should we start with the Constitution and Bill of Rights? Should we start with the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union? Should we adopt a monarchy as the model portrayed in Heaven? Do we want a the King representing God on Earth as outlined in Romans 13?

I don’t have the answers but I am interested in other people’s opinions. As we have just learned, teachable moments can be positive or negative depending on our motives and desires to be noticed. My motive has not changed: I do not want our children to live in slavery.

Strange how our enemy is using this same logic to gain power. They portray the “Boomers” as the enemy for achieving a measure of success. It is too easy to convince our children that they have no future or freedom making Socialism a logical pathway.

The Constitution was a supposed solution to the failings of the Articles of Confederation. The political class and foreign nations learned how to circumvent the Great Experiment. Do we need a reset of the Constitution or a new government?

  1. Who says we have to have a government or rulers?

Not hyperbole. This whole discussion has been a long list of grievances about government. Then why have one?

    1. I will answer this at PATCON.

        Please post this SPECIFICALLY afterwards
It’s the thing that pops into my mind ALL the time
As a farmer, we need markets, but why so large and so distant?
Fiat cash has ruined EVERYTHING this country was built on (in my opinion) what happened to creating your own space aka homesteading? ( would be nice to attend patcon, but interstate travel is just not feasible – time & $ )

  2. Do we need a reset of the Constitution or a new government?

I would say we need a New People(Homeland) as this current one will never be able to survive because of competing races, ideologies, religions, values, etc etc…

    1. If and it is a big if, heritage Americans remember who they are and regain the the fortitude of our ancestors there is no need to consider going anywhere. During the war of Independence Britain commitment around fifty thousand troops against a population of two and a half million occupying around three hundred and forty thousand square miles with an unfavourable out come , in 1867 Britain had the India with a population of two hundred and fifty million occupying almost two million square miles under heel with sixty five thousand troops. When it comes to warfare not all races and cultures are equal.
A homeland of our liking whether here or some yet to be determined place will require a massive amount of bloodshed, brutality and financial loss on our part that most are not willing to undertake…….yet.

      1. The American Revolution without the support Of FRANCE would very likely have failed.

France supplied money (back then real money was gold and silver NOT Fiat Colonials our congress printed up), gunpowder (both shipped in and Mr. Dupont a noted gunpowder manufacturer MAYBE you’ve heard of Dupont powders even today), lead, muskets, cannons, TRAINING (Maybe you’ve heard of General Layfeyette perhaps?) AND the French NAVAL Blockade over the last few years limiting British resupply.

Cornwallis was nearly out of ammo in the final siege of Yorktown because of the French Naval Blockade.

India was spears vs revolvers and breechloaders in 1867.

Today we have “plenty” of small arms of various types from 22’s and better. I know how often we were resupplied in ammo in Afghanistan, so I’m not so impressed by our ammo supply as 10K 5.56mm NATO some days wouldn’t last a night before we were limiting our return fire to await the choppers.

Fortitude is important but doesn’t stop a Hellfire missile.

        1. Your points are valid, however it is abundantly clear that there will be no talking out way out of this.
We have seen massive amounts of ordinances thrown at people with little resources who still continued to fight to preserve their way of life.
Warfare is often more about breaking political will than attrition, more about the covert than the overt.

          1. I happen to agree with you Yeoman.

However, from being for years a medic in those areas I can assure you that without OUTSIDE Support (AKA Iran giving them anti-armor and MANPADS) they just struggle and die.

Breeding more mice than the cats eat isn’t exactly a winning profile. The mice need tools for freedom from cats eating them.

I used mice because you brought up the important part. Covert vs overt.

I just shake my head when somebody thinks it’s a “numbers game” as in we outnumber them. Like the fool’s errand of thousands of bikers to Muslim Controlled Dearborn.

How many Jan 6th folks were arrested on the spot? Now look at how many were picked up and slammed into special prisons for years in the weeks to over a year later.

NOTE how PUBLIC that process was. Like they WANTED us to realize any day a half dozen men and two SUV’s could grab you at Walmart.

The Police Chief is Muslim. What kind of legal “protection” or honoring our bill of rights do you expect there?

As this is an open internet site (and frankly NO internet “security” is valid as Signal, VPN failures and many others keep pointing out) I’ll just remind folks that it’s F2F no electronics nearby even being in your fairly modern car is foolish with folks you have known for years (not internet chatroom buddies).

I remember one “numbers guy” here when I spoke about OPSEC and the IRA dismissed it as “we’re not IRA”.

            SMH.

I would say reset the constitution and the government to what they originally were, power should lie at the local level, tribal if you will, and decrease as it goes up the ladder. We also need to expel the third world invaders who have been destroying OUR culture and country for so many years now… those people who wear little hats too.

  4. I will say AGAIN. I was NOT endorsing National Socialism. But … I do believe we can learn some things from National Socialism that we could use to our benefit. That said, David makes a good point about division.

History is written by men. All men have an agenda. The winners get to write the history. I began to distrust the ‘normie’ version of history when I know why the War Between the States was fought, and it wasn’t to free the slaves. That, however, is how the victors framed it in order to give themselves the moral high ground and justify what they’d done.

World War II was, I believe, also mis-characterized. The Nazis weren’t as bad as portrayed and the Allies were a lot worse. When asked about U.S. actions in Japan during World War II, McNamara responded, “LeMay said if we’d lost the war, we’d all have been prosecuted as war criminals. And I think he’s right. . . . LeMay recognized that what he was doing would be thought immoral if his side had lost. But what makes it immoral if you lose, and not immoral if you win?” But our side did win and we got to write the history. Anyone who wants to get a different view on WWII should watch the documentary Europa; The Last Battle.

I had hoped that my Thought Exercise series would lead to a mature conversation about pros and cons of the particulars mentioned without emotional responses. Unfortunately, I guess we’re all so locked into our own reality that there’s no way to accomplish such a thing. David is correct in suggesting we’re being divided. I would just change that to have been divided. I just don’t know how we can come together if we can’t even discuss options without the knees jerking.

    1. It may be some knee jerking and it may be some people just wanting to be recognized. I was not surprised by Hans but I was surprised by Tom.
